Hosted by the Municipality of Kalamaria, the meeting welcomed delegations from the Istanbul Planning Agency (Lead Partner), Zugdidi Municipality (Georgia), Constanța Municipality (Romania), and the host city of Kalamaria. Over three days, participants gathered to assess the overall progress of the project, exchange experiences from each pilot site, and make strategic decisions for the next implementation phases.

The sessions addressed cross-cutting topics such as stakeholder engagement frameworks, visibility and communication strategies, environmental education modules, and timelines for infrastructure development in each city. Special attention was given to how each local context contributes to the shared goals of sustainability, inclusiveness, and climate resilience.

Beyond technical coordination, the meeting reinforced the spirit of transnational collaboration at the heart of the GREENCITIES project. Partners shared lessons learned, identified synergies across sites, and strengthened their collective commitment to creating greener, healthier, and more inclusive urban environments in the Black Sea region.
